Vaporil Vapor Inhalation Solution 100ml

Vaporil Solution for Inhalation by Vaporization is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with flu and colds, rhinorrhea and nasal congestion, cough and hoarseness.

Active substance: Thyme essential oil 17.5 mg; Benzoin Tincture 485 mg; Eucalyptus Tincture 233 mg.

Thyme essential oil, Eucalyptus Tincture are antiseptic compounds and Benzoin Tincture is a lubricant for the respiratory mucous membranes and fluidifier of secretions.

Dosage and method of administration:

Add 2 to 4 teaspoons of Vaporil to 400 ml / 500 ml of hot water and inhale the steam. Vaporil is not recommended for use in children under 6 years of age, due to a lack of data on safety and efficacy.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Due to the presence of thyme essential oil, allergic reactions can occur particularly in children. Vaporil should not be administered in prolonged treatment of rhinitis and sinusitis, as it may inhibit ciliary motility of the respiratory epithelium.
