This sculpture is a textbook example of Jones’ vision: a female body sculpted from wood in the form of a sofa – so it has a function, because you can actually sit on it.
‘Aphrodite’ is representative of Jones’ work – the woman is central – her hair as a backrest, her body as a seat support for 2 people, her arms and legs for support. The work was titled ‘Aphrodite’; in Greek mythology, she is the goddess of love, beauty, sexuality and fertility, among other things – in other words, an ode to women.

The bench is a design by Allen Jones, made in 2000 by Studio Simon for Dino Gavina Collection in Italy, in black lacquered oak.

Returns
The customer may notify the seller that he renounces his purchase, without payment of a penalty and without giving a reason, within a period of 14 days counting from the day following the day of delivery of the product. This regulation is only valid within the European Union. From this notification, the customer has 10 days to return the product to the seller.
If these deadlines are not met, the customer is deemed to have definitively waived his right of withdrawal. The buyer assumes responsibility for payment of all shipments and any damage the item may incur during such time regardless of the reason for return.
The return to the seller is at the buyer’s expense and will be made to the following address: FIN – Funky Interior – Waversebaan 164 – 3001 Heverlee – Belgium.
Upon lawful exercise by the customer of his right of withdrawal and if the products are still in impeccable condition in their original packaging, the seller will refund the price paid by the customer – excluding delivery costs – to the customer within 30 days of the initial payment.
