Description
Large-sized and colourful, this Mustelid is hard to miss. The bright-yellow fur in its neck and throrax earns it its common name, 'yellow throated marten'. The fur on the face, crown, tail and legs is black in colour. Ear pinnae are short and prominent. The tail is long- the tail length being about two-thirds of the head and body length. Large body size, long tail the length of which is about two-thirds of the head and body length and distinct yellow colour of the fur of the thorax.
