Perfect fit and is very sturdy.
It automatically closes or can stay open if pushed past a certain point. Very tall so it's great if you have a climber.

Worth the buy!

This gate is awesome! Took me a few minutes to figure out the set up but once I did I fit perfectly for my 40 inch wide stairway. It's a good height that keeps my little dog from jumping over it. The door works great too!

Great for small dogs or toddlers

Got this gate to replace the one we had that broke. It comes with different extensions which can help it get installed in many different ways.It can be installed by 2 ways pressure mount using adhesive or hardware mount using screws. The lock mechanism is easy for adults to use but would be hard for my toddler son to open on his own which makes it extra safe. over all very satisfied with this product.

Baby gate for stairway

I bought this for my brother and sister in law who have steep stairs that they needed to block off so their 3 year old could not climb them. I realize in the pics it is installed sideways, but this actually worked better for them. It was super easy to install. It is so solid that even their 100  lb dog does not push through it. This gate will last a long time and I am thinking about getting one for myself. Worth the money for how well it is made.

Very solid

This gate has verticals rungs which make it impossible for my dachshund to climb. Yay! The latch and the spring closure let me get in and out of the partitioned area. The gate swings both ways and that is nice! The only hurdle I have is the bar across the bottom does not allow my hand truck of firewood to roll over it. As that is needed only a fraction of the year, the majority of the year is spent enjoying the stationary gate which allows me freedom of motionAND security for my pet.

Great for my pet!

I bought this gate to section off my puppy. Assembly was easy and the gate is sturdy. It's high enough so that my puppy can't jump over it, but also convenient in that it's easy to let people through. It's expandable so it can fit a variety of hallways.

Sturdy and well-built

I love that it is the perfect height for my deck to keep my doggie inside. It looks really nice. It doesn't look cheap. It doesn't feel cheap. It's very sturdy. I love it!

Perfect height and actually nice to look at

The top latch doesn't completely close so the bottom latch is the only thing working. My 2 year old easily pushes the bottom latch and opens this.

Not so great

Recieved mine with broken plastic latch,  had to return it , very much an inconvenience,   cheap plastic latch. Otherwise was average.

I was excited to get my gate but my gate was used everything was opened all the plastic things were already cut on my gate when I received it and the gate has a mark on it and is missing a part where the gate locks cannot even use the gates because it does not lock or close and I got it late did not receive it on my delivery date I've received it a couple of days later
