Description : The Nordmann’s Greenshank is a medium-sized shorebird with yellowish legs (adult bird length approximately 31 cm, wing 18 cm, bill 5.3 cm, tarsus 4.6 cm, tail 6.5 cm). The non-breeding adult looks pale ashy-brown from above and white from below. Its forehead, supercilium and sides of the head are white, and its hind-neck is streaked with brown. It feeds on crustaceans, molluscs and annelids.
