A family Sunday was the perfect time to head over to the Perdana Botanical Garden. Very centrally located (accessible from KL Sentral station) these gardens are just beautiful.

From the lake with boating activities, to the colourful orchid gardens, this little getaway in the middle of the city is perfectly maintained.

It houses a deer park which you can enter for free, a bamboo play area for the children, an amphitheater, and of course the ‘Fantasy’ playground which is yet another statement piece for KL when it comes to keeping the little ones entertained!

Enjoy walking or biking around the area or stop and make use of one of the many picnic tables to make the most of your day. Even with nearly 4 hours in the Botanic Gardens we didn’t get round it all today, so ‘watch this space’ for part II! S x
