Romano has weighed in on the latest reports about the transfer activity at Old Trafford.
- A flurry of reports on Tuesday suggested that Manchester United have made bids for Jadon Sancho and Ousmane Dembele.
- However, according to Fabrizio Romano, neither deal is potentially close to being completed with the transfer window closing on October 5.
- The Red Devils have not made a new offer for the Englishman as Ed Woodward understands that Borussia Dortmund will not accept anything less than €120 million.
- As for Dembele, the Frenchman is not actually considering a permanent Barcelona exit and would only be willing to move to Old Trafford on a season-long loan agreement — but talks have taken place.
