The 25-year-old party-goer was one of a dozen villagers targeted by the animal during a 48-hour rampage.
He had nodded off on a bench after a drinking session to be awoken by a 'searing' pain.
"The fox was tugging my ear," he said.
"It hurt like mad.''
Passers by chased the creature away as the victim, who did not want to be named, went to hospital.
"It's in a bad way,'' he said.
"I'm going to have to have plastic surgery to rebuild it.
"It's a bit of a nightmare really.

Over two days the same animal tried to attack a schoolgirl, supermarket delivery driver, shoppers and several walkers in Storrington, West Sussex.
The animal was captured after council chiefs called in the National Fox Welfare Society.
The fox, which is thought to be suffering from toxoplasmosis, was last night undergoing health checks.
The parasitic disease can effect animals' brains and remove their fears.
