Rootle Ambassadors

All New Rootle Ambassador Program

PBS NC's new Rootle Ambassador program helps local community members, eager to support families of young learners, share PBS's suite of early education resources with their communities.

Powered by a grant from the William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust and additional support from the NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, the Rootle Ambassador program will make an immediate, significant difference in the lives of North Carolina’s children.

Collaborating with statewide educational agencies and community organizations, the Rootle Ambassadors will host engagement events and learning opportunities for families, caregivers and educators in 16 counties over the course of the year, focusing on children ages 2–8. Over the next five years, the program will expand to all 100 counties.
