Great product, no problem to use it, very safe to your PC
I was using Antistatic wrist band today to clean my pc inside. Must admit, its very easy to use. Good material, very good quality, easy to put on. The is no any difficult to reach tools or cleaning brush, Metal clip and be easy to attach to pc, when we work with gentle electronics, and its easy to remove. The is no any marks or scratches after using wrist band. The wire with wrist band is reasonable length, but only we need to remember to keep our stuff in range. Antistatic wrist band is very light, so you don't feel it on your wrist. You need to keep in mind, because is easy to forget, and you can pull to hard damaging something. The is no rule on what hand you put on, works perfectly fine. You can put on right hand, and use left to touching inside of PC. I'm left handed, so ... You could buy an anti-static mat, but better yet, a simple, inexpensive wrist strap that can be connected to any earthed case, radiator, water pipe, and voila, you are grounded and safe to handle your semi-conductors without fear of the 10,000 volts of static you generated by fidgeting in your polyester onesie, discharging through your RAM before you get to stick it in your slot, so to speak. If you want the safety without the expense and the portable solution that can slip in your pocket, this is the gadget you have been looking for. Once you have adjusted the wrist strap to a comfortable size, the elastic allows you to just slip it off ready for the next time you need it. This anti static wrist strap is excellent. I have a large wrist (due to injury) and it fits my wrist very well so covers many different wrist sizes. I was worried about changing a graphics card in my computer, so wanted to get something that would make sure that I didnt "fry" anything whilst doing so and this worked a treat, no issues at all. I needed an anti static strap to help replace a few chips on an older commodore home computer, I ordered this because it was a very good price. I was very pleased to see it turned up a few days later. It fitted to my wrist without the need to adjust it. The chips were changed without any apparent static issues, so all good. It will now live with my old computers in case I need to change any more chips.
