Lidl set to stock retro SEGA Mega Drive Flashback just in time for Christmas
LIDL Ireland are going retro this Christmas as they are set to stock the SEGA Mega Drive 10.
Gamers can rejoice as from December 5, the popular supermarket will be selling the 2019 version of the game console.
And the throwback gaming device won't even break the bank as it will cost €69.99
Complete with HD technology, the new device will work with your TV and allow you to play all the classic 16-bit games with high definition viewing.
The console will come action-packed with an array of classics - such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Mortal Combat and Comix Zone.
As well as that, gamers who've held onto their old cartridges can rejoice as they will be compatible with the 2019 version.
The Mega Drive comes packed with 82 games - including 42 original for the Mega Drive console, 12 from the SEGA Master System and 28 bonus games.
It is part of the German supermarket's Christmas gift range.
The range has gifts for all ages, with classic wooden toys such as Wooden railway sets, wooden doll houses and wooden barbecues for children, starting at €4.99.
